“Youth E-Participation” Hosts 1st Training Course in Serbia

From April 16–22, 2024, the “Youth E-Participation” project hosted its first international mobility, a training course, in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia. This course gathered young leaders from partner organizations to explore youth e-participation in decision-making, focusing on using digital tools to enhance civic engagement.

Through discussions and interactive workshops, the participants explored the key topics, such as the fundamentals of youth participation, the role of digital activism, and designing local e-participation processes. Sessions emphasized practical skills, like using ICT tools for youth advocacy and building collaborative relationships with local stakeholders to encourage youth input in policy-making.

After the training, attendees will organize three local one-day workshops to share their knowledge with youth and community leaders. This approach ensures that what the participants learned internationally is effectively applied at the local level, fostering stronger youth involvement in democratic processes.
