On February 6-7, we gathered in Athens with partners from Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, and Cyprus for the launch of the “Be Festive” project. The initiative focuses on bringing together Mediterranean cultures and promoting cultural heritage through local festivals. These festivals offer a unique space for youth participation, particularly for those with fewer opportunities.
Over two days, partners discussed the project’s vision, objectives, and expected impact. We reviewed the work plan, set key achievements, and strengthened our collaboration to ensure a successful project implementation.
“Be Festive” is set to promote festivals that are not only diverse and socially inclusive but also environmentally sustainable. By integrating eco-friendly practices and broadening participation, we aim to preserve cultural heritage while promoting community engagement and responsibility.
