The second training course of the “Youth E-Participation” project took place in Hammamet, Tunisia, on 27 October – 2 November 2024.
Throughout the course, participants explored the transformative role of digital tools for e-participation, exchanging ideas and learning to foster meaningful collaboration. Sessions highlighted the importance of media literacy for navigating today’s complex online landscape, focusing on fact-checking and spotting misinformation.
Participants also examined case studies from e-participation initiatives around the world, showcasing practices like e-voting and digital public services that enhance civic engagement. As part of the experience, participants took part in a cultural excursion to the Medina in Tunis, where they explored Tunisia’s rich history and cultural heritage.
