The main objective of the training course, “Media: A tool for Peace”, is to provide youngsters with an understanding about the relations between media and peace, and give them an opportunity to develop critical thinking, realize the importance of freedom of expression and information in conflicting contexts (social conflicts, military conflicts, conflicts of interests etc.). This TC will provide Youth workers from EU and Neighboring Partner Regions with new tools and knowledge in order to empower young people to take an active role in their communities, to realize the importance of role of media and the relationship between media and peace. We look for 3 motivated youngsters: available places left: 3 – Participation fee for each project is 30% of the travel costs, plus the annual membership fee 2013 (30€).
