It addresses the negative impact of misusing digital channels and raises awareness among young people of the challenges of communicating appropriately, effectively and responsibly in a variety of contexts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The TALKaCtive project strives to develop groundbreaking educational materials to help young individuals enhance their language abilities and communication skills. The project aims to tackle the detrimental effects of using digital platforms inappropriately and educate young people on the importance of communicating responsibly and effectively in different situations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project aims at improving young people\u2019s communication skills, through language development (both mother tongue and third languages), the ability to interact in a variety of contexts, and the acquisition of resources and strategies to understand the world around them and become active citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Around the axis of communication, it will also contribute to improve other skills:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Critical Thinking, important in a digitized reality of fake news and misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Analysis skills, which requires a good reading comprehension.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Social participation, by providing tools for better argumentation, defense and debate of ideas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Social inclusion, by focusing on most vulnerable young people.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Media literacy, focusing on the effect of digital communication settings and practices.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As a results, the project includes a set of open educational resources to develop language and communication skills for vulnerable young people. It includes:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Short training modules, illustrating concepts and ideas of communication in real-life situations and scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Games for storytelling, narrative creation, and oral expression.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 Guide for Youth Workers and Educators, with ideas for online, offline or blended activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8 TALKaCTIVE App, challenges and minigames on communication for active citizenship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Partner of the project:<\/p>\n<p>MEDIA CREATIVA, Spain<\/p>\n<p>TDM 2000 ODV, Italy<\/p>\n<p>S.C.E.
